Industry News

Vancouver, B.C-  Paramount gel fuel is simple, safe and effective. Once lit, the gel crackles like a real log fire and burns 100% clean with no smoke and no soot. It emits a minimal sweet smell, produces up to 3000 BTU`s of heat per can and burns for 2.5 to 3 hours. Ethanol Alcohol is completely organic and free of contaminates such as lead, petroleum distillates, and harmful chemicals. This new fuel is made for use in Paramount indoor ventless gel fuel fireplaces, and outdoor fire pits, and garden burners. Just like chaffing fuel, gel fuel offers a safe burning medium when provided to the consumer in a properly labelled high quality format.

This new Gel fuel formula is made from ethanol, and comes in a 369g canister. Just open the can, place it in a gel fuel holder and light. This new formula eliminates the safety issues experienced with pourable gel fuel. The can is placed safety in a holder and then the top is removed. The viscous gel does not easily spill, a reinforced bottom on the can ensures the can lasts the life of the product and stays secure while burning. The can is removed and recycled once it has safely cooled down. There is no pouring of fuel.

Paramount has been a leader in the safe gel fuel category, selling its isopropyl outdoor Paramount gel fuel in cans for several years. Paramount has one of the only ETL Certified Indoor Gel Fuel Fireplace Inserts with a patented flame snuffing device. It offers patented Gel fuel fire pits, firepots, fireplaces, and gel. Having the EcoLogo® provides users with the assurance that the fuel they are burning is certified with the EcoLogo® guaranteeing it is safe, organic and clean burning, says Stuart Watson, President of JR Home.

"Safety is primary for our gel fuel products. Our ventless gel fuel fireplace insert has a patented flame snuffer built right into the unit. We also patented a special holder for all our fire pits so that the canister will not tip and all of our products include snuffing tools to ensure ease of use.

"We have invested in product videos included on our website to illustrate proper handling and use. "Consumers will be able to use the new Gel all year round, indoors and out, creating a warm cozy space for families and entertaining with no clean up!" adds Watson.
