On Monday, August 17, over 120 golfers joined us for our first annual Summer Golf Tournament. Hosted at 1757 Golf Club, it was a fun day of competition, networking, and (maybe) a cigar or two!

AGC of DC's YCF teamed up with DBIA and ASCE's Young Member Forum to host the second annual Young Professionals Night at Nationals Park on July 20. Attendees attended a "pre-game" networking party with 80 young professionals from across the industry, then caught the game as the Nationals took on the Mets.

Thanks to Davis Construction, our YCF members got a behind the scenes look at the historic Uline Arena project by Third and M Streets NE. The Arena building, best known for being the venue for the first American concert given by The Beatles, is also architecturally significant due to its concrete barrel vault roof and structural concrete arches. The 25 attending YCFers had a great time exploring and learning about the project.
