The 2015 paving season gave rise to some outstanding nominations for the 2016 VDOT and Virginia's Best Paving Awards. It was a difficult year to be a judge and there was much debate over which companies would take the top honors. The winners are listed here and photos can be seen on the VAA website.
2015 VDOT Paving Awards Winners for Construction & Maintenance:
Construction Winner: W-L Construction & Paving, Inc. – Rt 81 – Shenandoah County
Maintenance Winner: Chemung Contracting Corp. – Rt 20 – Orange County
Virginia's Best Paving Awards (non-VDOT)
Commerical WInner: Virginia Paving Company – Sterling Wegman’s – Loudoun County
Municipal Winner: Branscome, Inc. – City of Williamsburg Resurfacing – Williamsburg City
Non-Traditional WInner: S. L. Williamson Co., Inc. – Insurance Institute for Highway Safety – Greene County
Green Winner: Virginia Paving Company – Rt 7 Widening – Loudoun County
