The second most-read article of the issue focused on the legal side of managing an association, specifically how to navigate the tricky (and unfortunate) process of terminating an employee. In "Top Ten Rules for Terminating an Employee and (Hopefully) Avoiding a Claim,"attorney Donna K. McElroy offers readers helpful ideas to keep a bad situation from escalating.
