February has been one of the busiest months yet in my tenure as TCA Executive Director. Putting on two conferences in the same month, in the middle of a legislative session, has been uniquely challenging.  Around 600 DCs, staff, students, faculty and patients swarmed the Capitol for chiropractic on Feb. 9. It was, by all accounts, the largest turnout for a TCA Legislative Day in decades, perhaps ever. The inaugural TCLC on Feb. 10-11 was a resounding success, with 110 DCs, chiropractic assistants and staff on hand. It’s been a very long time since there has been such positive energy swirling around, and TCA has added close to 200 new members over the past five months. But the majority of the licensed DCs in Texas are not TCA members ... yet. Check out our YouTube video for a few highlights from TCA Legislative Day!
