SPFA Advocates for 25C Tax Credit Extenders with Coalition

SPFA has partnered with the Window and Door Manufacturers Association (WDMA) through a coalition to pursue extension of 25C energy efficiency tax credits. WDMA announces H.R. 6398, a bill in the House, to extend these credits.

SPFA met with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and various other federal agencies on September 12, 2102, to provide an overview of the forthcoming SPF Professional Certification Program, and request a courtesy review and comment upon materials. The meeting and materials were met with great enthusiasm among participants. The SPF Professional Certification Program will be rolled out at the 2013 SPFA Annual Convention and Expo in February 2013.

SPFA met with the Building Product Issues Group of the NAHB Board during the NAHB Board meeting in Austin, TX on September 14, 2012. This was a forum for NAHB members to offer observations or questions related to SPF health and safety, performance, and industry growth. The dialogue was instrumental in building a mutually beneficial relationship with this important industry partner.
