Safety Webinar #6: Lock-Out/Tag-Out Program
Date: January 6, 2016, from 2-4 p.m. ET
Presenter: Joe Bolduc, Director of Health and Safety, TruTeam and SPFA Safety Committee Chair

This SPFA members-only webinar will cover the topic of Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) more formally known as Control of Hazardous Energy. As sprayfoam contractors, your workers encounter sources of hazardous energy on the jobsite every day. These sources include electrical panels, pressurized equipment (pumps, proportioners, hoses, guns and compressor) and other equipment. Under Title 29 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 1910.147, employers must develop and implement a LOTO program for all employers working around energized equipment. This safety webinar will review the key points of the OSHA regulations, help you to identify energized equipment hazards, and provide a sample program on how to properly train workers and address these hazards.

NOTE: Attendees are encouraged register for the webinar in advance to be sure you have the password before the webinar starts.
