SPFA recognizes the growing presence of women in leadership positions in the SPF industry. In particular, women-owned businesses have specialized challenges and opportunities. During a reception specifically for women in the SPF industry, they gathered and discussed these exact topics.

Tiffiny Flaim, President of Biofoam out of Chicago and convener for the Women's Reception, said, "In our business and industry things are going fast. Women have unique challenges and opportunities running our businesses, our numbers are steadily increasing and it’s essential that we carve out time to connect with other women in SPF." In addition to the time she devoted to organizing the Women's Reception, she also helped with the set up and tear down of the Field Exams. During the Women's Reception she mentioned, "I think the show is doing great! We could not ask for better weather, I am looking forward to walking the sold-out exhibit hall, as well." Flaim also mentioned, "The biggest reason I am part of the SPFA is because of the PCP certification program." Note: Biofoam Inc. is an SPFA PCP accredited company, and was also one of the runner-ups in the Industry Excellence Awards in the Commercial Wall Foam category for their work at O'Hare South Tower!

What a group!
