Blue Paper to Increase Containerboard Capacity

Blue Paper will increase capacities at its corrugated case material mill by 40,000 tpy, according to Euwid. The expansion comes with an upgrade at the dryer section of the PM.

Blue Paper plans is a French paper producer. The company plans to rebuild the dryer section of its PM for brown recycled containerboard in autumn, which will also increase the machine's capacity, Euwid reports.

Valmet will upgrade the dryer section over six weeks between 12 October to 22 November. Maintenance tasks will also be carried out in the scheduled window.

The machine at the Blue Paper site in Strasbourg currently has a capacity of 400,000 tpy and will reach a capacity of 440,000 tpy with the new dryer section, according to the company.
