Feldmuehle Reports on Progress After Restructuring

Feldmuehle announced this past week that it remains active with its complete portfolio in the areas of label and packaging papers as well as an extended range of graphic papers since the transfer of the former Feldmuehle Uetersen to a subsidiary of Berlin, Germany-based Beteiligungsgesellschaft Kairos Industries on June 15.

The company, which now operates under the name Feldmuehle, is continuing production on two paper machines. The company's targets reportedly remain the expansion of its market position in all product areas and to focus on premium and specialty papers.

"Feldmuehle offers a broad, competitive portfolio with promising products and stable, long-standing customer relationships," said Feldmuehle Managing Director Heiner Kayser. "We, therefore, believe in the future viability and good prospects of the company and will actively commit ourselves to further strengthening our market position."
