Gain Insight into the State of the Nonwovens Industry at NETInc 2018

On Monday, Feb. 16, 2018, nonwovens professionals will have the unprecedented opportunity to hear Dave Rousse, president of INDA, discuss the "State of the Nonwovens Industry" during his NETInc 2018 keynote presentation. Mr. Rousse will give an overview of the North American nonwovens industry in terms of capacity, demand, and volume by major segment. He will also discuss some "megatrends" supporting continued growth in nonwoven materials as well as areas of high growth and high innovation, including what the most significant innovation areas are.  In addition, Mr. Rousse will address some challenges and major issues facing nonwovens, including the sustainability challenge of "end of life" issues for disposable products.

Dave Rousse’s keynote presentation kicks-off the three day technical program for NETInc 2018 (Innovative Nonwovens Conference)

NETInc is the only nonwovens technical conference developed by engineers and technologists to help individuals understand the science and how it impacts that market. This year, NETInc will be held in Charlotte, N.C., USA, on April 15-18, 2018. Nonwovens professionals and academics from around the world will gather at the conference to share and discuss new technologies, best practices, and key issues affecting the industry. Attendees will hear experts present their latest findings during the comprehensive technical program as well as have the opportunity network with their peers during one of the many special events scheduled during the conference.

NETInc is organized by the Nonwovens Engineers and Technologists (NET) Division of TAPPI and has a foundation of strong technical presentations combined with targeted networking opportunities to create an environment of professional growth.  It is co-located with TAPPI’s PaperCon Conference, the world’s largest technical conference for the paper and packaging industry. Attendees will be able to attend sessions from both events.
