Tube Council Adds WS Packaging Group to Board of Directors

The Tube Council, Kathleen, Ga., USA, this week welcomed Paulette Gramse of WS Packaging Group, Green Bay, Wis., to its board of directors. Gramse was appointed to represent WS Packaging as an associate director member, supporting the use of extended text labels in the tube industry.

"Representing WS Packaging Group on the Tube Council's board is important to us. We fully support our customers in the packaging industry, including the use of tubes," said Gramse, MultiVision® product development manager. "WS Packaging specializes in tube labeling and extended text labels for tubes. This means we're working with the standards set by the tube industry to provide on-demand labeling of tubes for our customers in North America, primarily in the over-the-counter (OTC) and personal care categories."

The Tube Council represents companies manufacturing tubes in North America as well as many of its partners supplying components or services to the industry. The mission of the Tube Council is to promote flexible tube packaging as the preferred package of choice for brand marketers in the personal care, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, food, and household industries.

WS Packaging, within its MultiVision line of extended text labels, offers the only patented extended text labels for tubes and flexible packaging in the industry. Both designs are water resistant and conformable, enabling brands to replace direct decoration with high-quality printing on multiple layers:
"Brands who use tube packaging are looking for labels that provide a number of special qualities, including the printing space needed for consumer education, regulatory compliance, multiple languages, and the ability to open easily and reseal," said Gramse. "Extended text labels, such as FlexWrap and FlexVision, give brands the opportunity to expand consumer engagement and build brand loyalty by telling a deeper story about their product."
