Call for Abstracts Now Open

Present your latest technical developments and applications at the International Conference on Nanotechnology for Renewable Nanomaterials – the only international conference dedicated specifically to the production and use of cellulose nanomaterials. This respected program will be held 11 – 14 June 2018 in Madison, Wisconsin, USA and will be co-located for the first time with the Forest Products Society’s 72nd International Convention.

The deadline to submit abstracts is Dec. 1, 2017. Submit title and 300-word (or shorter) abstract via TAPPI’s Speaker Management System

The theme for 2018 is "Cellulose Materials – Solutions for Industry Applications" and features topics on:
o   Industrial and Pilot Scale Production
            o   Industrial Applications/End Uses
o   Characterization and Metrology from the Lab to Production Plant
            o   Mediated Assembly
            o   Composite Processing and Testing
            o   Paper and Packaging
o   Functional Materials and Soft Matter
            o   Biomedical Applications
o   Nanocellulose Electronics, Photonics, and Energy Technologies
            o   Product Stewardship and Safety
o   Automotive & Other Manufacturing Processing
            o   Ligno- and Hemi-Nanocellullose Materials.

Students are invited to submit oral presentations and posters and are eligible to earn grants to cover partial travel expenses, discounted registration rates, and other subsidies. All student abstracts will be reviewed by a group appointed by the Technical Program Committee.

All submissions are peer reviewed by the Nano Division Research Subcommittees and conference co-chairs:
