Dr. Ring began his career as a corporate research scientist and is now the Professor Emeritus of Paper Science and Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.  He is well known in the industry as an author of 15 publications, a patent holder, TAPPI Fellow and recipient of many industry awards.
