Coveris Appoints Panayotopoulos Chairman and Interim CEO


Dimitri Panayotopoulos has been appointed Coveris (Chicago, Ill., USA) Chairman and Interim CEO by the company’s board of directors, effective this week. Dave Mezzanotte, who currently holds this position, announced his decision to retire and will assist in a transition period.

Dimitri has had a very distinguished career, including 37 years at Procter & Gamble where he led multiple businesses and served as vice chairman. During his time at P&G, Dimitri gained vast knowledge of best business practices across multiple geographies such as the U.K., Switzerland, Germany, Egypt, China, and the U.S., and many different categories. His acute knowledge of the fast-moving consumer goods market will prove invaluable in driving continued growth and commercial success at Coveris.

The Coveris Board said that it would like to thank Mezzanotte for his many contributions to helping Coveris better serve the needs of its customers duringr the past four years.
