PEERS 2017: Maximizing Success through Innovation

"Maximizing Success Through Innovation" is the theme for TAPPI PEERS 2017, Nov. 5-8, 2017, in Norfolk, Va., USA. Mills are constantly striving to stay competitive and grow in today's marketplace, and key to that is understanding what new technologies have been developed and how current processes can be improved to ensure reliability and cost-effectiveness. PEERS 2017’s four-day, comprehensive program addresses a wide-range of critical areas that will help mills boost performance.

PEERS is an acronym for Pulping, Engineering, Environmental, Recycling, and Sustainability. It strives to tackle the most dynamic, critical topics in the pulp and paper arena today. Every "peer-reviewed" session in the technical program has been selected based on its quality and relevancy to issues currently faced by mills.

This year’s program also offers a special Career Development Track for young professionals/engineers, as well as 10 Program Tracks allowing all attendees to focus on areas that most affect them, including:
As an added bonus, PEERS is also co-located with the International Bioenergy and Bioproducts Conference (IBBC), giving you access to two high-powered conferences, and the unique opportunity to participate in multiple, dynamic, and informative conferences, in one convenient location. In addition, up to 10 employees from the same mill location can attend both conferences at a deeply discounted price. However, special pricing does not include workshops, Monday’s dinner, or the PaperChase Fun Run/Walk.
