MHIA Corrugating Machinery Welcomes Regional Sales Managers

The Corrugating Machinery Division of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries America (MHIA), Houston, Texas, USA, has appointed Greg Kukla and David Moulder to regional sales manager positions with the company. "Driven by the success of our corrugating machines and flexo folder gluers in North America, we are expanding our presence in the container board and packaging market to better serve our many valued customers," said Takahashi Uchiu, SVP, GM, in making the announcement. "We are pleased to offer assistance in any way we can to further their business success."

With more than 20 years of experience in commercial and package printing equipment sales and consulting, Kukla (photo right) brings ample expertise to his new position. His territory now includes part of the Midwest and the Northwest. A seasoned professional with deep knowledge of the printing and packaging industries, Kukla has a long history with Mitsubishi-affiliated companies, including MLP USA Inc. (Mitsubishi Lithographic Presses), RM Machinery, and now MHIA Corrugating Machinery Division.

As has been true throughout his career, Kukla aims to achieve topline growth. "MHIA Corrugating supports me in my goal of providing sound solutions for boxboard enterprises that want equipment appropriate to their needs for high quality, quick turnarounds, and great productivity," he said.

Kukla earned a B.S. degree in business administration and management from St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wis. He has long dedicated himself to meeting new challenges and creating new opportunities. "At MHIA, I have the privilege of representing products that are best-in-class. MHIA Corrugating equipment is known for its production attributes, including dependability. I am proud to be part of such a forward-thinking company," he said.

Moulder (photo left), who is a graduate of the University of Southern Indiana, came on board at the end of April and is currently working alongside his father, Doug Moulder, who plans to retire in the coming year after decades in the business. "I’ve always been looking for the right opportunity, for the perfect storm, to work with my father. The fact that I would be able to be his apprentice in a mentor relationship at a top company is indeed fortuitous," he said.

As southeast regional sales manager, Moulder is covering territory from Indiana, south to the tip of Florida and west to Texas and New Mexico. He brings to his position at MHIA a strong work ethic and a keen interest in packaging. "My first foray into the corrugated packaging industry was in the mid-2000s when I worked for Pamarco Global Graphics, he said.
