Searching for the Stars among Young Professionals


It’s time again to look to the stars—that is, the young professional, rising stars in the global pulp, paper, packaging, tissue, and related industries. TAPPI is searching far and wide for the next Top Outstanding Young Professionals Awardees.  
 
TAPPI is now accepting nominations for emerging young professional leaders in the industry. The Top Outstanding Young Professionals Award designates as many as 10 aspiring, young leaders each year.  Awardees will be recognized throughout 2018 in TAPPI’s various publications and online. In addition to the recognition, honorees will be invited to attend their 2018 division-specific TAPPI conference to receive their award. Take a look at TAPPI’s 2017 Outstanding Young Professionals.
 
Are you or someone you know age 35 or younger with 5-10 years of industry experience? Submit a nomination today. Download and fill out the form completely. You will also need to include a copy of the nominee’s resume.  
 
There are three different ways you can apply:
  1. Email – Send the completed form and resume to YP@tappi.org.
  2. Mail – Mail the completed form and resume to: TAPPI, 15 Technology Parkway South, Suite 115, Peachtree Corners, GA 30092. 
  3. Fax – Fax the completed form and resume to:  1-770-446-6947.
Submission Deadline: Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2017.
 
Please Note:  Nominees do not need to be TAPPI members at the time of submission; however, winners must be a member of TAPPI. Join or renew your TAPPI membership today! If you have questions about the TAPPI membership, please contact YP@tappi.org. Nomination forms will be retained up to five years for consideration, according to eligibility. 
 
The TAPPI’s Young Professional Division is a great resource for professionals 35 years of age or younger who are looking for a way to advance their career in the paper, pulp, tissue, converting, or related industries.
