FajarPaper starts up PM 8 Containerboard Machine in Indonesia


FajarPaper, Indonesia, has brought online its newest packaging board machine, PM 8. The new machine is producing FajarPaper’s lightweight PerformaMedium grade, which together with its PrimeLiner range, currently accounts for about 50% of total monthly sales.

The new PM 8 adds 350,000 metric tpy of capacity, raising the company’s total production capacity to 1.5 million metric tpy. FajarPaper is one of the largest packaging paper manufacturer in Indonesia with a current capacity of 1.55 million metric tpy, with six existing containerboard machines, using 100% recycled paper as raw material.
