U.S. Containerboard Output up Slightly in January

  
U.S. containerboard production in January 2017 was 1.5% higher than in January 2016, according to the AF&PA (Washington, D.C., USA) January 2017 U.S. Containerboard Report released this week. The month-over-month average daily production compared with December 2016 was 0.2% lower. 

The containerboard operating rate for January 2017 decreased from 97% to 96.5%, which was 1.7 percent higher than for January of 2016.
