Caraustar Wins Big at 73rd Paperboard Packaging Council Awards Competition



Three members of Caraustar Consumer Packaging's (Austell, Ga., USA) Structural Design Team recently received awards at the Paperboard Packaging Council's 2016 Awards competition. The highly regarded competition recognizes advancements in paperboard packaging design.

Designer David Stier received the prestigious Judges' Award for his Bakeware Pan with Lid Carrier design for Reynolds Aluminum. He also represented Caraustar on a Structural Design Excellence panel showcasing his winning design and discussing Caraustar's structural design process.

Steven Mahler received an Eco Category Excellence Award for his Quinn Snacks package design produced on Caraustar's ES Cream recycled paperboard. Designer Jerry Brown received an Excellence Award for his CEP Compression Sleeves design.
