Coveris Announces Two New Additions to Executive Team


Coveris, Chicago, Ill., USA, a manufacturer of packaging and coatings solutions, this past week announced the appointments of Werner Domittner as VP of customer excellence and Steve Robeson as VP of customer care.

As the head of customer excellence, Domittner will be responsible for helping Coveris build a world class selling organization by developing strategies that leverage its size and global capabilities to better serve its customers. Domittner has more than 20 years of experience in leadership responsibilities ranging from global account management to commercial strategy, shopper marketing to strategic planning, and operations. Most recently, he led growth strategies for enterprise clients in the consumer packaged goods and private equity sectors as a consultant and private equity executive in residence at Retail Strategy Partners. Domittner was previously SVP of Global Customer Marketing at Diageo plc, CEO of Interbrand, the world's leading brand consultancy, and director of Global Customer Business Development at Procter & Gamble.

Robeson joins the Coveris team serving as VP of customer care, where he will work closely with customers to ensure that Coveris is continuously improving the service and quality metrics that matter most to its customers. Robeson brings nearly 30 years of global experience in operational and supply chain management, including the improvement of quality, service, and delivery. He most recently was VP of Operations EMEIA for Ingersoll Rand plc, a global diversified industrials company. In this role, he was responsible for the strategic functions and lean practices of seven manufacturing locations and 1,200 employees. He was previously VP of operations at Cooper Industries Ltd., group director of quality and lean manufacturing at Associated Spring, a division of Barnes Group, Inc., and held a number of leadership positions at Textron Inc., early in his career.

Both Robeson and Domittner will have global oversight responsibilities, and will be based in Coveris' headquarters location in Chicago.
