Total U.S. boxboard production decreased 2.9% compared with August 2015, but increased 0.9% from last month, according to the AF&PA (Washington, D.C., USA) August 2016 U.S. Paperboard Report published this week. Unbleached kraft boxboard production decreased over the same month as last year, but increased compared with last month. 

Total solid bleached boxboard and liner production decreased compared with August 2015, but increased compared with last month. The production of recycled boxboard decreased compared with August 2015, but increased compared with last month.
