Antti Jääskeläinen has been appointed EVP of UPM Raflatac, Finland, effective July 1, 2016. He will become a member of UPM's Group Executive Team on the same date. He will be based in Helsinki and report to Jussi Pesonen, president and CEO.

Jääskeläinen is currently responsible for UPM Raflatac's EMEIA business (Europe, Middle-East, India, and Africa) as SVP. He has been in his current role and UPM since 2014.

 

"The UPM Raflatac EMEIA management team has done excellent work and with Antti's appointment I'm sure UPM Raflatac will further improve and develop its business," said Pesonen.

"UPM Raflatac has significant opportunities for value creation in the growing self-adhesive markets and I'm excited to lead this global organization forward," said Jääskeläinen.

Jääskeläinen is 43 years old and has a master's degree both in engineering and economics.
