PEERS Announces Keynote Speaker for 2016 Conference

 
TAPPI’s PEERS Conference has announced its Keynote Speaker for 2016. Industry leader, Paul G. Boynton of Rayonier Advanced Materials will deliver his keynote speech on Monday, September 26, at 8:00 a.m. to open the conference.
 
PEERS 2016 will be held September 25-28, in Jacksonville, Fla., USA,  and will be co-located with the International Bioenergy & Bioproducts Conference (IBBC) and the International Mechanical Pulping Conference (IMPC).

Paul G. Boynton is the chairman, president, and CEO  of Rayonier Advanced Materials, the world's leading producer of high-value specialty cellulose fibers. He has held this position since the company separated from Rayonier Inc. in June 2014, where he previously served as president and CEO. Boynton also worked at 3M for 9 years before joining Rayonier in 1999.
 
Boynton holds a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from Iowa State University, a MBA degree from the University of Iowa, and graduated from the Harvard University Graduate School of Business Advanced Management Program.

The theme for PEERS 2016 is "Mill Innovations: Process Reliability to Breakthrough Technologies," and this year’s dynamic and highly informative technical program is centered around this theme. Attendees have a chance to hear from the experts on the latest technologies developed to keep the industry competitive. Key issues affecting mills and other industry organizations will be discussed in detail along with presentations offering potential solutions. Senior management as well as mill employees will learn methods and strategies on how to improve their efficiencies.
