TAPPI Webinar: Spray Nozzle Basics for Papermaking

 
The Spray Nozzle Basics for Papermaking webinar will provide an introduction into the variety of nozzles and manifolds used in papermaking and solutions for most common problems such as nozzle plugging, increasing nozzle lifetime, and lowering water consumption. Best practices for evaluating nozzle wear and setting up a nozzle maintenance program will also be discussed.
 
The webinar will be hosted by Ben Drummond of Spraying Systems Company. He has been working on product design for spray applications with Spraying Systems for 10 years. There he leads a team for development and release of specialized products for the pulp and paper industry. He graduated from the University of Illinois- Urbana Champaign with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2005, and currently is co-writing a paper on spray transfer efficiency onto high speed moving webs. Ben will be presenting in the Operating Efficiency and Energy Savings Session in the Tissue360° Forum at PaperCon 2016 on Tuesday, May 17.
