Two Industry Leaders to be Keynote Speakers at Nano 2016

TAPPI’s International Conference on Nanotechnology for Renewable Materials (Nano) has announced its two keynote speakers for 2016. Industry leaders, Bernard de Galembert and Christoph Weder, will each give a keynote speech on separate days during this premier event which will be held June 13-16 in Grenoble, France.

Innovation and bioeconomy director at the Confederation of European Paper Industries (CEPI), de Galembert will be the opening keynote speaker on June 14. His keynote speech titled The Paper Industry and the Bioeconomy: Shifting towards the Post-petroleum Economy, will address the "bioeconomy" and its future role in the economy in regard to climate change, crisis recovery, de-industrialization, and decreasing competitiveness of the Northern hemisphere developed economies.

Executive director and professor, polymer chemistry and materials at AdolpheMerkle Institute, Weder, will deliver his speech on June 15. Weder’s primary areas of research at the Institute are in the design, synthesis, investigation of structure-property relationships, and exploitation of novel functional polymer systems, in particular stimuli-responsive polymers, biomimetic materials, and polymer nanocomposites.

Attend Nano 2016 and meet these two leaders as well as other top experts focused on renewable and sustainable nanotechnology from more than 25 different countries!
