U.S. containerboard production decreased by 3.2% compared with December 2014. Monthly daily production averages compared with November 2015 decreased by 2.5%, according to the AF&PA (Washington, D,C., USA,) .December 2015 Containerboard Statistics Report, released this past week. 

 

Containerboard's operating rate for December also decreased to 90.5%. The overall 2015 operating rate of 95.6%was 0.5% below 2014.
