TAPPI Webinar - DOE’s Better Plants: New Initiatives for Manufacturers

The Better Buildings, Better Plants Program was established five years ago by The Department of Energy (DOE) to partner with manufacturers to help them meet the many challenges they face in today’s marketplace and to succeed in finding sustainable solutions and energy savings. The Program continually develops new initiatives to help manufacturers with these challenges and now you can learn about the Better Plants Program’s latest two initiatives – water efficiency and supply chains.

Attend TAPPI’s webinar, Better Plants: New Initiatives for Manufacturers, presented by Robert Bruce Lung of the DOE on December 3, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. EST and gain insight as to how the program’s latest initiatives can help your plant be more efficient.

During the one hour webinar, Lung will discuss each initiative in detail as well as new training topics and formats.  He will also outline how the DOE’s complete portfolio of programs and resources, including technical assistance, help partner companies develop successful approaches to set, measure, and reach their energy efficiency targets.

Lung is an ORISE Fellow with the U.S. DOE’s Advanced Manufacturing Office where he supports the Better Plants and Superior Energy Performance programs by helping with expansion of industry participation and ensuring that the programs offer value to manufacturers and industrial-scale energy users.
