Total U.S. boxboard production in August 2015 decreased 2.3% compared with August 2014, but increased 1.3% over July 2015, according to the AF&PA (Washington, D.C., USA) August 2015 U.S. Paperboard Report issued earlier this week. Unbleached kraft boxboard production increased over the same month of last year and increased compared with July 2015. 

Total solid bleached boxboard and liner production decreased compared with August 2014, but increased over July 2015. The production of recycled boxboard decreased compared with August 2014, but increased compared with July 2015.
