GapCon Acquires Shares in Kresta Paper

 
GapCon, Germany, has taken shares in the Kresta Paper GmbH paper and pulp technology center in Pölten, Austria. Kresta Paper was founded in February 2014, and today employs approximately 40 highly experienced specialists with extensive knowledge of all aspects of paper machine technology including planning, automation, and process technology. 
 
 

Following this week’s announcement, Kresta Paper will be renamed GapCon Paper GmbH, and will become an independent member of the GapCon group, itself a subsidiary of the IRLE DEUZ group, Germany. 

Established in 2006 the GapCon group offers a comprehensive array of services across all aspects of paper machine technology from sales, engineering, and manufacture to rebuilds, relocations, and complete turn-key project delivery. The company has pursued a robust growth strategy, opening or acquiring bases in Italy, India, and China. 

GapCon notes that its acquisition of shares in Kresta Paper will galvanize its position as a growing force in the paper machine business, "meeting and exceeding our customers’ needs on a global scale.
