Tembec Elects Eight Directors

 
Tembec Inc., Montreal, Que., Canada, report that all nominees proposed as directors in the management information circular dated Dec. 16, 2014, were duly elected as directors of the corporation by a majority of votes cast by shareholders present in person or represented by proxy at its Annual Meeting of Shareholders on January 29 in Montreal. The total number of shares voted by shareholders present in person or represented by proxy at the meeting was 80,370,489, representing 80.37% of the corporation's outstanding shares. 

Elected directors were Norman M. Betts, James N. Chapman, James V. Continenza, Michel J. Dumas, Jacques Leduc, James M. Lopez, Francis M. Scricco, and David J. Steuart. Final voting results on all matters voted on at the meeting will be filed on SEDAR. 

Tembec is a producer of forest products –pulp, paper and specialty cellulose, lumber. The company has some 3,400 employees and annual sales of approximately $1.6 billion.
