NewPage Launches Second Edition of PAPER@WORK

NewPage Corp., Miamisburg, Ohio, USA, a producer of specialty papers, has launched a second edition of its PAPER@WORK Brief series titled C1S or C2S: Finding the best label paper solution. This new PAPER@WORK explores the primary differences between coated one side (C1S) and coated two side (C2S) papers when used for the labeling of cans, jars, and plastic containers; a product labeling format utilized extensively by food and beverage companies around the world.

"Label printers and brand owners are faced with balancing operational efficiencies, print performance, and cost savings when it comes to labeling products," said Jim Sheibley, NewPage director of business and product development for specialty papers. "Many times, label paper selection is called into question as a means to balance this equation. Our PAPER@WORK Brief provides an in-depth analysis of the most critical label paper attributes that will help customers optimize their label paper performance in production and on the shelf."

PAPER@WORK is an ongoing series of briefings from NewPage detailing a spectrum of important topics impacting the world of specialty papers.
