Global Paper Solutions Achieves PEFC Certification

Global Paper Solutions (GPS), Atlanta, Ga., USA, has achieved PEFC Chain of Custody certification, ensuring that materials used for the production of its printed folding cartons, litho-labels, in-store signage, direct mail, playing cards, and convenience food containers come from known sustainable, legal and traceable sources. Chain of custody certification is the process by which certified material can be traced from the forest to the end-user.

Commenting on the achievement, Pankaj Singh, president, GPS, said that "Global Paper Solutions is committed to providing North American customers with sourcing from responsibly-managed forests. We are proud to demonstrate to our customers our support for sustainable forest management with assurances that the material used to make our products can be traced back to forests certified to a credible, international certification standard such as PEFC."
