Boxboard Output Edges up in U.S.
Total U.S. boxboard production in December 2013 increased 1.4% compared with December 2012 and increased 1.1% over November 2013, according to the recently released AF&PA (Washington, D.C., USA) December 2013 Paperboard Report. Unbleached kraft boxboard production decreased from the same month last year and decreased compared with November 2013. Total solid bleached boxboard and Liner production increased compared with December 2012 and also increased compared with November 2013.
The production of recycled boxboard was flat compared with December 2012 and decreased compared with November 2013.
