Poole Hires Winebarger to Focus on Nonwoven Fibers Business Development

Poole Co., Greenville, S.C., USA, a producer and distributor of textile fibers, and a specialist in nonwoven fibers, virgin polyester fibers, recycled fibers, and heavy denier fibers, this week announced that it has hired Craig Winebarger as part of the company's nonwoven fibers segment. Winebarger will be responsible for developing and growing the company's business in the nonwoven fibers sector.

David Poole, CEO of Poole Company, noted that Winebarger "has worked in the nonwoven fiber industry for more than 30 years." His experience includes sales and marketing, new business development, product development, and manufacturing. Poole added that "his knowledge of the industry expands from engineering and sustainability to science and technology, making him an excellent resource for our nonwoven customers."

Nonwoven fibers by Poole are used in markets such as hygiene for diapers and adult incontinence; wipes including cosmetic and baby wipe products; industrial products for scrubbing pads, substrates, and roofing materials; filtration products for liquids and gas forms; and foam replacement fibers. These nonwoven fibers are available in both virgin and recycled compositions. The recycled version is EcoSure – a staple fiber made from 100% PCR (post-consumer recycled) PET flake.
