Registration Deadline Extended for Lake States TAPPI/NC PIMA Meeting

The deadline to pre-register for the Lake States TAPPI/North Central PIMA meeting on "Technology Advances for Specialty Papers" has been extended until tomorrow, Friday, May 17. The event, to take place on Tuesday, May 21, at Liberty Hall in Kimberly, Wis., USA, focuses on Innovative Additives, Barrier Coating, Equipment, and Advances in Digital Papers, and includes a special session on Digital Print Technology.

The primary focus of this meeting will be on new or emerging technologies to promote value added paper grade development, cost optimization, and quality improvements. It is designed especially for printers, product development engineers, paper machine/stock prep/coating prep/coater operators, process engineers, superintendents, supervisors, lab personnel, suppliers, and students, as well as others interested in learning more about specialty papers technology, barrier coatings, coating additives, digital papers, and coating process troubleshooting.

The pre-registration fee is $135.00, with an on-site registration fee of $150.00. Students and retirees can take advantage of a reduced rate, if pre-registered, of $45.00, with an on-site rate of $55.00. A special mill rate allows five attendees for $500.00.
