Appleton Mfg. Division Introduces RollMover XHD

Appleton Mfg. Division, Neenah, Wis., USA, this week released its new RollMover™ XHD (Extreme Heavy Duty) unit, designed for industries that need to move extremely heavy loads. RollMover XHD was developed in response to increasing weight and torque requirements from partners and customers. It is field tested and proven to withstand some of the most demanding moves in any industry, the company notes.

The Rollmover XHD is currently being used by customers to move heavy truck chassis as well as wire and cable reels that weigh up to 100,000 lb. In addition, several current RollMover HD paper mill and corrugator customers are now using the XHD when they require extra weight capacity for safety.

A few of the main highlights of the XHD design include:

The RollMover XHD is now being offered as part of the standard Appleton product line. It has the ability to move basically anything that will roll. "It has more torque and weight capacity than the heavy duty model," said Matt Spang, Appleton Mfg. Division western regional sales manager, "which is impressive considering that even our current HD model can move tandem rail cars in mining operations."

Appleton Mfg. Division offers a full line of core cutters, custom and semi-custom core handling and finishing equipment, compact battery powered roll and cart movers, Safe-Slab™ Core Recyclers, cleaning showers/systems, and parts and service for all lines.
