U.S. Boxboard Output Slips
Total U.S. boxboard production decreased by 1.8% compared with June 2011 and decreased 0.7% from last month, according to the AF&PA (Washington, D.C.,USA) June 2012 Paperboard Report. Unbleached kraft folding production increased over the same month last year, but decreased compared with last month.
Total solid bleached boxboard and liner production decreased compared with June 2011 and remained flat compared with last month. Recycled folding production decreased compared with June 2011 and decreased slightly when compared with last month.
