DuPont Increasing Titanium Technologies Prices in North America

Effective April 1, DuPont Titanium Technologies, Wilmington, Del., USA, is also increasing the price for its Ti‑Pure® titanium dioxide sold in North America (U.S. and Canada) into coatings, plastics, laminates, and specialty applications. The increase will be 20 cents per pound (USD), or as permitted by contract. It is in addition to any previously announced increases for North America.

Price increases for DuPont RPS Vantage™ titanium dioxide products sold into paper and paperboard applications will be managed separately.

DuPont Titanium Technologies is the world's largest manufacturer of titanium dioxide, serving customers globally in the coatings, paper and plastics industries. The company operates plants at DeLisle, Miss., New Johnsonville, Tenn., and Edge Moor, Del., in the USA, as well as in Altamira, Mexico, and Kuan Yin, Taiwan, all of which use the chloride manufacturing process. The company also operates a mine in Starke, Fla.
