Domsjö Fabriker to Modernize Debarking, Lignin Drying

Domsjö Fabriker, Örnsköldsvik, northern Sweden, plans to invest some 300 million kronor to modernize equipment in the debarking facility and add another lignin dryer. The company previously invested 850 millionkronor in the plant between 2000 and 2009.

Adding a second lignin dryer to the first one, which began operations in 2009, will double the company's capacity for dry lignin.
