Neenah Paper Redesigns Website for Easier Paper Selection

Neenah Paper, Alpharetta, Ga., USA, is embracing digital technology to help customers find papers in a more intuitive way. "Because consumers today get most of their information from web-based resources or smartphone apps, we need to embrace that and speak their language," explains Tom Wright, senior director of advertising and design for Neenah Paper.

The redesigned website features an online service called Neenah Personal Proof, which lets users create high-quality, custom-printed samples with their own artwork. Designers can order up to three free printed samples of a single design on different paper stocks.

"The Neenah Personal Proof is really revolutionary for our industry," explains Wright. "The ability to digitally view the color and texture of paper online and then receive a printed sample of your own work empowers designers in a way that no one has ever done before."

Neenah's website offers 22 tools that can help users make better informed paper choices. These tools let users build custom color palettes, purchase paper by color, texture, grade or application, accurately simulate exact paper color, or view an interactive swatch book library. Mobile apps are also available.
