Euro Slide to Impact Packagers, Paper Companies

The Euro slide against the U.S. dollar accelerated, reaching $1.27 last Friday. The Euro was $1.50 in early December. The weak Euro will have a translation impact for many packagers and potential trade flow and commodity pricing implications for paper companies, according to Mark Wilde, senior analyst with Deutsche Bank.
