Pactiv Corp., Lake Forest, Ill., USA, this past week completed purchasing the stock of PWP Industries, Vernon, Calif. PWP's 2009 sales were approximately $140 million. The purchase price of the acquisition is $200 million. PWP primarily manufactures a range of foodservice containers for several channels, including packer processor bakeries, supermarkets, and quick service restaurants. It operates three manufacturing facilities in the U.S. and employs some 600 people.
