Rick Colvin Scholarship Fund Established

The Georgia Mining Foundation, Macon Ga., USA, has established a scholarship fund in the memory of Rick Colvin, who recently died following a brief illness. Colvin worked in the kaolin industry for 32 years having been with Engelhard, Nord, Dry Branch Kaolin, and Thiele Kaolin. The Georgia Mining Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, is encouraging companies to make tax deductible contributions to the scholarship fund.
