Progroup to Start Up New Paper Machine on Schedule

Progroup will start up the new paper machine in Sandersdorf-Brehna at the end of August, Euwid reports.
The company is thus committed to the schedule announced last year. The total investment in the paper mill amounts to €465m.
According to Euwid, the new PM will have a design capacity of 750,000 tpy of containerboard, and focus on the production of corrugating medium and testliner in base weights ranging from 80 g to 150 g/m².
With the new machine, Progroup increases its total containerboard production capacity from 1.1 million t to around 1.85 million tpy.
