TAPPI Announces Division-Level Honors

Print Print this Article | Send to Colleague

Many of TAPPI’s distinguished awards were to be presented during PaperCon 2020. While that event was rescheduled to April 25 – 28, 2021 in response to the coronavirus pandemic, TAPPI is nevertheless pleased to “virtually” celebrate these members’ many achievements.

Over the next several weeks, TAPPI will highlight winners of the prestigious Division-level awards in publications like Over the Wire, on TAPPI’s homepage, and in virtual ceremonies. Recognizing scientific achievement, outstanding leadership, professional excellence, and service to our industry and communities, these awards do more than honor those receiving them—they highlight the qualities valued by TAPPI members.

The schedule of virtual award ceremonies includes:

  • ·         June 10 – Process Control
  • ·         June 16 – Paper & Board
  • ·         June 17 – Coating and Graphic Arts
  • ·         June 18 - P&PQ/Nonwovens/ IRMC
  • ·         June 30 – Women in Industry Woman of the Year (at the Women’s Summit)/PIMA

For information on attending any or all of the above, please contact TAPPI’s Paper Division Account Manager Tyler Mast at tmast@tappi.org.

Nominations for 2021 award winners are open until August 1, 2020. Please visit the awards page for more information.
