TAPPI’s Nonwovens, Engineers and Technologists (NET) Division will present its latest webinar next Thursday, April 9 from 12:00-1:00 p.m. EDT titled “The Science Behind Energy Efficient Homes” to teach the basics of making a home more energy efficient.

Sanjiv. R. Malkan, Ph.D., CText FTI, PMP, Engineering Principal from Hunter Douglas will be presenting this timely webinar. Dr. Malkan holds a Ph.D. in Textiles and Polymer Science and has over 30 years working in textiles, nonwovens and adhesives. He has more than 50 publications and presentations, five book chapters, and holds five US patents and four design patents.

For this webinar, Dr. Malkan plans to define energy efficiency in homes and discuss steps to take towards achieving energy efficiency. Participants can expect to learn how they play a role in energy consumption.
