With growing concern over the future of our earth’s natural resources, there has been a shift within the pulp and paper industry to produce sustainable and renewable products. Mills are looking for new technologies, advancements and product innovations to help meet sustainability goals.

TAPPI’s 2019 Pulping, Engineering, Environmental, Recycling and Sustainability (PEERS) Conference will address many of these sustainability concerns and offer potential solutions for implementation back at the mill.

Held October 27-30, 2019 in St. Louis, MO, PEERSis considered the premier technical event focusing on the latest advances in technology, as well as fundamental process knowledge and control issues mills face each day. Its comprehensive technical program emphasizes new methods and best practices to help mills optimize operations. With the conference theme, "Gateway to the Future," PEERS offers attendees insight into industry trends and emerging products. Attendees can also engage in peer-to-peer discussions during panel sessions, committee meetings and the popular Hot Topics Breakfasts.
