Cascades CEO Participates in Environmental Discussion

With Earth Day just around the corner, Cascades (Canada), a leader in the recovery and manufacturing of green packaging and tissue products, invites media representatives to its material recovery facility in Ottawa, Canada this afternoon (April 11) at 1:00 p.m. for a discussion about recovery, recycling, circular economy and environment in the presence of Mario Plourde, President and CEO at Cascades, and Dr. David Suzuki  a renown environmentalist, and a group of students involved in the Ontario EcoSchools network. This discussion will be moderated by columnist and animator Frédéric Choinière, well versed in environmental issues.

Mario Plourde will also take this opportunity to make a special announcement about a new sustainability initiative that the company will deploy in Ontario .

The event will conclude with a tour of the sorting facility to demonstrate the circular path followed by paper and paperboard products after collection in the recovery bin.
